Due to this please do not ask for orders to be delivered on certain dates as we cannot guarantee delivery in time!

North Island

Mon- Friday if ordered before 2.00pm Please allow 1-3 days (normally delivered overnight ) Rural Delivery add on another 1-2 days

South Island

Mon- Friday if ordered before 2.00pm Please allow 2-3 days delivery (weekdays) Rural Delivery add on another 1-2 days

Local Whangarei - 1-2 Days

Whangarei gift baskets are delivered same day for local, next day for outer local if ordered before 2.00pm.

Outer Area Whangarei - 2-3 Days

Bream Bay, Kokopu, Ruakaka, Marsden Point, Mangapai, Mata, Matarau, Maungakaramea, Ngunguru, Oakley, One Tree Point, Parua Bay, Pautaua, Poroti, Puwera, Ruatangata, Takahiwai, Taiharuru, Titoki, Tutukaka, Waipu, Whangarei Heads.

If you need delivery for outer Whangarei on the same day, please contact us on 021 595 902, we will do our best to organise delivery for you.

Rural Deliveries

Please allow an additional 2-3 business days on top of standard delivery on rural deliveries, as the parcel is forwarded onto your regional mail service, then will be sent on your next mail cycle. 



 Weekend & Public Holiday Orders

Orders made after 2.00pm Friday and on the weekend will be picked up for delivery on the next working day. (Monday)

 There is no delivery's on Sunday or Public Holidays due to courier's being unavailable. Please also note not all areas are available for Saturday Delivery.

Specific Day For Delivery


If you have a specific day you would like your gift to be delivered (birthday day etc) please enter it at check out along with a message for your free gift card included in order. We will do our best to deliver on the day specified but unfortunately can not guarantee as we use a third party for delivery, once the gift basket or gift hamper leaves Basket Creations it is in the hands of the courier service. We do use a well established courier company to help ensure a reliable quick delivery. Please also check delivery time frame to make sure your gift has time to arrive to day specified.


Delivery Notes


Hospital Deliveries

Please provide name & ward number (female patient may be checked in under their maiden name). Please check first that patient is still in the hospital, as hospital stays can be short and they may have checked out of the hospital before the gift arrives. (If this is the case re-delivery will be at your cost). We recommend if possible for the gift to be sent to a home address.



Unfortunately, couriers cannot deliver parcels to PO boxes or private boxes and Basket Creations does not take responsibility for incorrectly supplied addresses. (You will be charged a re-direction fee if the original address supplied by you is incorrect.)



Basket Creations uses a reputable courier company to deliver our gifts to help provide the best service and quick delivery. Once your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email as well as a tracking link via email or text to track your order.


Pick Ups

Yes, we do pick up's by arrangement first.  As we are an online store only all payments must be made through the website, no cash is held on premises!



All our gift baskets and hampers are well packaged to ensure they arrive to the intended recipient on time and how they left Basket Creations. If you should experience any problems please contact us immediately. We offer 100% Guarantee on our products.


Multiple Recipients - Multiple Shipping Location

If you have multiple recipients with different shipping locations, Please feel free to email us a list of names and addresses as this is often easier than doing separate transactions on the website.


Product Shortfall

We do our best to provide the products that are shown on the product page but if we are currently out of stock of an item at the time of ordering, we will replace with an item of the same quality and value.
